Up the highway to Qualicum Beach and then across to the West Coast, stopping on the way in Cathedral Grove, a grove of original old growth Douglas Firs containing trees up to 800 years old, right next to the highway. Another stop in Port Alberni at the grocery store, the liquor store and the gas station and then on to our accommodations for the rest of the week at Chesterman Beach!
